You may complete an RYA course on one of our Course - Cruises, these longer trips provide an excellent way to gain
certification with more miles covered, typically 250 miles, visiting places further afield, all aboard our comfortable Swedish Scanyacht 391.

The Competent Crew member would have little or no experience of sailing an offshore yacht.

Day Skipper
The Day Skipper candidate would already have experience of crewing and is now looking to gain experience, on completion
of the course the Day Skipper would be able to take charge of a yacht on a day basis.

Coastal Skipper
The Coastal Skipper needs 15
days sea time , 2 days as skipper, 300 sea miles and 8 night hours under his/hers belt prior to departure,
on completion the student would be proficient to skipper a yacht on longer coastal passages by day or by night.
